Introducing the double-spindle version of the Kenrick gearbox, designed for versatility and ease of use. Both followers are sprung, allowing you the flexibility to choose between sprung or unsprung door handles.

Kenrick Excalibur gearboxes come in both single and double spindle configurations, with center measurements of either 92mm or 62mm and 92mm. The overall height of the gearbox is 225mm, and it is securely fixed to the faceplate using three screw holes.

For added convenience, there is a hole located above the top spindle, 21mm from the top of the case, which can be utilized for bolt-through handle fixings. The top spindle measures 128mm from the bottom of the gearbox, aiding in the identification of compatible handles.

When measuring the backset, remember to account for an additional 2-3mm for the faceplate. For instance, a 35mm backset gearbox will measure 32mm when not attached to the strip.

Kenrick Excalibur multipoint door gearboxes feature a small plastic snib on the faceplate, which can be used to hold the latch back for convenience and to prevent accidental lock-outs.

While Kenrick Excalibur gearboxes may resemble the Fullex XL series and Ingenious gearboxes, it's important to note that both Ingenious and Fullex XL multipoint gearboxes measure 230mm, making them 5mm larger than the Kenrick Excalibur.
