Willenhall 3000 Non Locking Mortice Hookbolt

The Willenhall 3000 series mortice hook latch is designed specifically for sliding doors. This model does not include a locking snib but comes with a pair of stylish handles. Previously known under the Century brand, these latches stand out due to their unique flush fit handles, which are recessed to ensure smooth sliding without obstruction.

While this version is non-locking, an alternative model with a snib mechanism is available, allowing for added security by preventing the handle from being moved.

These latches feature a grey lock case, consistent with many mortice locks, yet they possess distinct measurements that set them apart. For precise specifications, please refer to the accompanying line drawing.

Available exclusively in a satin chrome finish, this latch utilizes a hook mechanism instead of a traditional deadbolt, making it ideal for sliding door applications.

The hookbolt operates similarly to a deadbolt; once engaged, it secures the door by hooking onto the strike, effectively preventing any sliding movement. The hook automatically throws into place and can be easily retracted using the lever handle from either side.
