The ERA Vectis Lever Operated Slave Unit Split Spindle Centre Case is a robust and versatile locking solution designed for enhanced security and ease of use. With a 35mm backset and 95mm centres, this split spindle centre case features a compact design with a height of 220mm and a width of 50mm, making it suitable for various door types.
This keyed alike set includes both a master door hookbolt gearbox and a slave gearbox, eliminating the need for a Euro profile cylinder. This design not only simplifies installation but also enhances security by preventing cylinder manipulation, breaking, or snapping. The slave unit is specifically crafted for the passive leaf of French doors, utilizing security shootbolts that secure the lock into the frame, ensuring optimal compression at both the top and bottom of the door.
The split spindle function allows compatibility with lever or lever and pad handle applications, providing flexibility in design. The gearbox is mounted on a sturdy 16mm face bar, making it an excellent choice for UPVC French door installations. It meets the stringent requirements of BS EN 1670:2007 Grade 4 for corrosion resistance and has been endurance tested for 50,000 cycles, ensuring reliable performance over time.
