Single Spindle Gearbox

The INGENIOUS single spindle multi-point door lock gearbox is designed for optimal security and convenience. With a backset of either 30mm or 35mm, it features a latch and hookbolt centre case, 92mm centres, and a case width of 47mm or 57mm, all housed in a sturdy 229mm tall case.

One of the standout features of this gearbox is the handy plastic snib located on the faceplate. This allows users to hold the latch back, providing ease of access and preventing accidental lock-outs, making it perfect for high-traffic areas.

The gearbox utilizes unique slider technology, ensuring a long-lasting and smooth operation. To maximize performance, it is recommended to pair the gearbox with sprung door furniture, as the follower is unsprung.

Identification

You can easily identify this gearbox by its small plastic snib on the faceplate and the distinctive large top corner case cut-out. It shares similarities with Fullex XL cases, so be sure to double-check before placing your order.

Handing

Reversing the latch is straightforward. Simply remove the screw in the latch, take it out, flip it to the opposite hand, and refit the screw for seamless operation.

Operation

Locking Method: To engage the locking mechanisms, lift the lever and turn the cylinder one full turn to lock. To unlock, turn the key one full turn and push down on the lever.
