Introducing our high-quality copy gearboxes designed specifically for the original GU Europa locks. These gearboxes are available in various backsets: 30mm (28mm when used with a cranked faceplate), 35mm, 40mm, and 45mm.

GU multipoint lock gearboxes come equipped with both a latch and a deadbolt, measuring 208mm in height (excluding the fixing lugs) and the width is determined by the backset plus an additional 19mm.

Installation is straightforward, as GU gearboxes are secured to their faceplates with three screws. The screw placement is as follows:

• Top to Middle Screw Distance: 108mm
• Middle to Bottom Screw Distance: 92mm

The follower measures 8mm, with the thickness varying between the 30mm (thicker) and the 35/45mm (thinner) models.

Important Note: Always allow an additional 2mm when measuring your backset with the gearbox removed from the faceplate.

These gearboxes are exclusively available in a lift lever function. Please note that the split spindle and fast locking functions are now obsolete; if you require either of these functions, a new style full-length lock will be necessary.

Latch Reversal: Twist latch into the desired position

To Lock the Door:

1. Lift the handle upwards to engage the locking points.
2. Secure the locking points and main deadbolt (if present) by turning the key.

To Unlock the Door:

1. Unlock the system by turning the key.
2. Push the handle downwards to disengage the locking points and retract the latch.
