Introducing the Avocet Replacement Spindle Shank, a crucial component designed to restore functionality to your Avocet Multipoint Door Lock gearboxes. The spindle follower, often referred to as a "shank," is the most common part to fail in these systems. Crafted from durable cast metal, this follower features an 8mm square piercing that accommodates the lever spindle.

Over time, wear and tear can lead to cracks at the corners, resulting in pieces breaking away. This damage typically manifests as drooping or inoperable lever handles, often due to misuse or prolonged exposure to stress.

If you've identified a failure in your existing Avocet gearbox, replacing the spindle shank is a straightforward solution that can significantly extend the life of your locking mechanism.

Both top (92mm PZ) and bottom (62mm PZ) followers utilize the same shank design, making this replacement part versatile for either application. Please note that these spindle shanks are sold individually, so if both followers are damaged, you will need to purchase two units.
