Introducing the Millenco Lift Block, an essential component of the Millenco Mantis 1 lock mechanism. This specific version features the original tall central gearbox, easily recognized by its distinctive 117/86 PZ locking centers.

Common Issues

The Lift Block is a cast component located at the bottom of the gearbox, positioned between the Euro cylinder aperture and the back of the case. A frequent issue arises when debris gets trapped between the cylinder's cam and the Lift Block, leading to potential cracking if the cylinder is forced. Additionally, if an excessively long retaining screw is used, it can penetrate too deeply, reaching the Lift Block and causing damage when tightened.

Symptoms of Failure

When the Lift Block is compromised, users may experience difficulty turning the key or, in severe cases, a complete blockage that prevents the lock from functioning in either direction.

Replacement Process

Fortunately, replacing the Lift Block is straightforward. Simply remove the side plate from the case, lift out the damaged component, and insert the new genuine part.
