Product Overview: Elite Standard Multipoint Door Lock

The Elite Standard multipoint door lock is designed specifically for the passive door in a pair of French doors, ensuring both security and functionality without locking points.

Key Features:

• Versatile Applications: Suitable for various door types, the Elite multipoint locks are crafted in Europe and come with a durable "Silbear" coating, providing 480 hours of salt spray protection.
• Identification: Look for the Elite logo stamped on the faceplate. The gearbox includes a slot and a small hole for bolt-through handles, located above the top spindle.
• Heritage: These locks are a continuation of the Roto-Frank range, utilizing the same tooling and specifications, now enhanced with the Silbear coating. Previously known as the MVD range or "Roto mark 2" locks, they offer a straightforward lock swap without the need for gearbox changes.
• Size Options: Available in standard and compact versions for shorter doors, both maintain a handle height of 950mm, with a total length of 1810mm.

Specifications:

• Gearbox Options: Choose between a 35mm single spindle lock or a 35mm or 45mm double spindle. Gearbox dimensions are 200mm high with a backset of +19mm. Remember to add 2mm for the faceplate when measuring the backset.
• Deadbolt and Latch Dimensions:
  • Deadbolt: Projects 20mm, height 32mm
  • Latch: Height 30mm, projects 10mm
  • Distance between latch and deadbolt: 63mm
• Centre Measurements: Positioned at 62mm and 92mm, with the top spindle located 122mm from the bottom of the case. Single spindle locks feature a round hole for the second spindle, and the gearbox is pierced for bolt-through fixing 19mm from the top spindle, with a slot for fixings 42mm above.

Operation Instructions:

To Lock the Door:

1. Lift the handle upwards to engage the locking points.
2. Secure the locking points and main deadbolt (if applicable) by turning the key.

To Unlock the Door:

1. Turn the key to unlock the system.
2. Push the handle downwards to disengage the locking points and retract the latch.

Durability: Tested to EN1675 Grade 5 for 480 hours of salt spray resistance, ensuring long-lasting performance in various environments.
