Lever Operated Latch Only - 4 Roller

The FERCO Lever Operated Latch Only - 4 Roller is a versatile locking solution designed for specific applications. Available with either a 28mm or 35mm backset, it features a 70mm centre spacing, a case height of 198mm, and a choice of 44mm or 48mm case widths. The lock operates with a 7mm single spindle and is designed as a latch-only centre case.

While these locks have demonstrated reliability over the years, they provide a lower level of security compared to contemporary locking systems and are not commonly used in new installations. Nevertheless, with many still in service across the UK, there is a continued demand for compatible replacement options.

Identification
This lock can be easily identified by its unique combination of 70mm centres, a 7mm spindle, and a latch-only centre case.

Gearbox
The latch-only gearbox features a 7mm single spindle, with a case height of 198mm and a width of either 44mm or 48mm, depending on the selected backset.

Additional Locking Points
In addition to the primary locking point within the gearbox, the full-length strip includes four roller locking points for enhanced security.

Faceplate
The lock is equipped with a 16mm wide faceplate, making it ideal for UPVC applications, and has an overall length of 2200mm.

Croppable
This full-length unit is croppable, allowing for height adjustments to fit the specific door it is being installed into.

Handing
To reverse the latch, simply push in the latch hold cam on the side of the lockcase, remove the latch, reverse it, and return it to the case. A click will indicate proper engagement.

Sprung/Unsprung
The gearbox is sprung, featuring an internal spring mechanism that aids in lever return, eliminating the need for sprung handles or a separate spring cassette.

Operation

• Locking Method: Lift the lever to engage the locking mechanisms, then turn the cylinder one full turn to lock. To unlock, turn the key one full turn and push down on the lever.
