Lever Operated Latch & Deadbolt - Centre Case 35/92

The MILA Lever Operated Latch & Deadbolt - Centre Case 35/92 is designed for efficiency and ease of use, making it an ideal choice for those looking to repair or refurbish existing door systems without the hassle of a complete replacement.

With a 35mm backset and 92mm centres, this single spindle latch and deadbolt centre case measures 234mm in height and 50mm in width, ensuring a perfect fit for older Mila cases. This cost-effective solution allows you to maintain the integrity of your door systems while enhancing their functionality.

Installation Notes:

• Fixing Points: Please be aware that the fixing points are unthreaded, necessitating the use of self-tapping screws for secure installation.
• Connector Compatibility: Some older locks may feature an offset or cranked connector. This is crucial to consider, especially when replacing gearboxes, as it does not apply to full-length locks. Replacement gearboxes are now provided with inline connectors only, ensuring compatibility with older locks. However, to ensure proper operation, the drive gear behind the faceplate may need modification—specifically, transforming the square hole into a slot.

Handing Instructions:

To reverse the latch, simply remove the screw located on the side of the case, take out the latch, flip it to the opposite hand, and reattach the screw. This straightforward process allows for easy customization to suit your door's requirements.

Operation Guide:

• Locking Method: Engage the locking mechanisms by lifting the lever, followed by a full turn of the cylinder to secure the lock. To unlock, turn the key fully and push down on the lever.

Key Features:

• Single spindle design for streamlined operation
• Centre gearbox only for focused functionality
• Combination of latch and deadbolt for enhanced security
• Compatible with Euro profile lock cases for versatility

This latch and deadbolt system not only provides a reliable locking solution but also ensures that your existing door systems can be efficiently updated and maintained.
