The internal mechanism includes a single spindle and a latch & deadbolt centre case, ensuring reliable performance. The sliding strip is ingeniously designed with a notch that allows the spring-loaded ball bearing to engage, providing a secure and defined locking action when the handle is operated.

Look for the "FUHR" stamp on the faceplate, which also features two distinctive round bolt locking points for added security.

Handing Instructions

To reverse the latch, locate the Allen screw on the side of the lockcase aligned with the latch. Remove the screw, pull out and reverse the latch, then reinsert the Allen screw.

Sprung/Unsprung Mechanism

The gearbox is sprung, featuring an internal spring mechanism that aids in lever return, eliminating the need for sprung handles or a separate spring cassette.

Operation Instructions

Locking Method:

1. Lift the lever to engage the locking mechanisms.
2. Turn the key one full turn to lock.
3. To unlock, turn the key one full turn and push down on the lever to disengage the locking mechanisms.
