Specifications

• Backset Measurement: When measuring, allow 2-3mm for the faceplate; a 35mm backset gearbox will measure 32mm when not fixed.

Functionality and Operation

Kenrick Excalibur locks feature a small plastic snib on the faceplate for convenience, allowing the latch to be held back to prevent accidental lockouts. The rollers serve to compress the door against the frame, enhancing weather sealing and preventing warping.

Locking and Unlocking Process

To lock the door:

1. Close the door to engage the latch automatically.
2. Lift the handle to engage the locking points.
3. Turn the key to secure the system.

To unlock the door:

1. Turn the key to unlock the system.
2. Push the handle down to disengage the locking points.
3. A quarter turn of the key will retract the latch.
