Identification and Features

Lockmaster locks are identifiable even without the logo on the faceplate. Key indicators include:

• Upwards throwing locks with an anti lift pin

Gearbox Specifications

Lockmaster gearboxes come in:

• 35mm or 45mm backsets
• Double spindle or single spindle mechanisms
• Bifold door versions available in 25mm and 28mm backsets

Double spindle locks feature 62mm and 92mm centres and are unsprung, so we recommend using sprung door handles. Single spindles are sprung and can only function as lift levers.

Gearboxes are fitted to faceplates with three screw holes, with the top to middle and middle to bottom screw holes both measuring 109mm. Earlier versions included a small spindle hole near the latch for holding it back.

Operation Instructions

To Lock the Door:

1. Close the door to engage the latch automatically.
2. Lift the handle to engage the locking points.
3. Turn the key to lock the system.

To Unlock the Door:

1. Turn the key to unlock the system.
2. Push the handle down to disengage the locking points.
3. A quarter turn of the key will retract the latch.

Corrosion Resistance

This lock has been corrosion tested to BS EN 1670:2007 Grade 4 (240hrs. NSST), ensuring long-lasting performance in various environments.
