Important Considerations:

When replacing a gearbox, be aware that some older locks may feature an offset or cranked connector. Replacement gearboxes are now only available with inline connectors, which are compatible with older locks. However, you will need to adapt the drive gear behind the faceplate. This involves cutting a square hole in the drive gear to create a slot for proper functionality. Please consult our technical guide for detailed instructions.

Operation Instructions:

• To Lock the Door:

  1. Close the door to automatically engage the latch.
  2. Lift the handle to engage additional locking points.
  3. Throw the deadbolt and secure the system by turning the key (note: on some brands, lifting the handle will throw the deadbolt).

• To Unlock the Door:

  1. Turn the key to unlock the system.
  2. Push the handle down to disengage the locking points.
  3. A further quarter turn of the key will retract the latch.
