Product Overview: Mila Gearbox

The Mila gearbox is a high-quality, genuine replacement option designed for durability and reliability. It features unthreaded fixing points, which means you'll need to use self-tapping screws for installation. For optimal performance, we recommend using 4mm x 30mm screws (Part Number: M430CSK) to create the necessary threads.

Important Installation Note:

Before fitting, please be aware that the gearbox will not function correctly until it is securely attached to the faceplate and connecting rods. Ensure proper installation for seamless operation.

• Latch Only Versions:

  • Single spindle
  • Backsets: 25mm, 28mm, 35mm, and 45mm

• Latch and Deadbolt Versions:

  • Single spindle (92mm PZ)
    • Backsets: 35mm and 45mm
  • Double spindle
    • Available with a 35mm backset only
    • Features a 70mm/92mm PZ measurement

To measure the backset, follow these steps:

1. Identify the Door Edge: Place the measuring tape against the edge of the door where the lock will be installed.

2. Measure from the Edge to the Center of the Lock: Measure the distance from the edge of the door to the center of the lock cylinder or the hole where the latch will be installed. This distance is your backset measurement.

For the centres PZ measurement:

1. Locate the PZ Measurement Points: The PZ measurement is the distance from the center of the keyhole (or cylinder) to the center of the handle hole.

2. Measure Accurately: Use a measuring tape to find this distance. Ensure that you measure straight across to get an accurate reading.
