Introducing the Ucem Multipoint Door Lock, a robust security solution featuring 3 deadbolts and 1 latch. This heavy-duty, European-made lock is designed for key wind operation and boasts a U-rail faceplate with a distinctive 85mm centers and 50mm backset configuration.

Important Note: Due to the 85mm center sizing of these mechanisms, options for lever on backplate furniture are limited. We recommend using lever on round rose furniture paired with a separate euro escutcheon. If lever on backplate furniture is necessary, the Versa adjustable levers can be set at 85mm PZ and are available in the related items section on this page.

Operation: Key Wind

To Lock the Door:

1. Close the door to automatically engage the latch.
2. Turn the key to throw and engage or "wind" out the locking points.

To Unlock the Door:

1. Turn the key to unlock the door by "unwinding" the locking points.
2. A further quarter turn of the key will retract the latch.

Latch Reversal:

To reverse the latch, insert a screwdriver into the back of the case, push the latch clear of the faceplate, twist to reverse, and release.

If you find that the latch sticks after reversal, simply release the tension on the screw above the latch slightly to rectify the issue.

This lock is versatile and can be used as a UPVC door lock, an aluminum door lock, a timber multipoint door lock, or a composite door lock.

Measuring Guidelines

Centres Measurement:

1. Measure the distance between the centers of the two keyholes (if applicable).

Faceplate Measurement:

1. Measure the width and height of the existing faceplate.
2. Ensure to account for any additional fittings or fixtures.
