Introducing the British Standard Zoo ZBS Mortice Sash Lock, designed to meet the stringent requirements of British Standard BS3621:2007. This high-security lock features a robust 5-lever mechanism, along with anti-drill and anti-saw features, ensuring top-notch protection for your property.

Unique Specifications

The lock is available in standard case widths of 67mm (2.5") and 79mm (3"), with unique backset measurements of 40mm and 53mm, respectively. For precise installation, please refer to the accompanying line drawing.

Security Features

To comply with BS3621, the deadbolt extends at least 20mm from the lock body, providing positive deadlocking and enhanced resistance against forced entry. The deadbolt can be operated from either side using a key, while the roller bolt latch remains non-handed for versatile use.

Installation and Compatibility

This lock is suitable for doors up to 54mm thick. If you have a particularly thick door, we can provide extra-long keys upon request. The lock is designed for both left and right-handed doors, accommodating inward and outward opening.

Keying Options

Each lock comes with 2 brass keys as standard. Additional keys can be ordered, and our in-house locksmith team can key alike multiple locks for convenience. We typically dispatch orders the same day, although larger quantities may require additional processing time.

Insurance Compliance

Many insurance providers require locks on external doors to meet BS3621 or BS8621 standards. Always verify with your insurance company to ensure compliance. The BSI kitemark on the faceplate confirms adherence to these standards.
