Strand Hardware PHT55 Three Point Touch Bar Bolt

The Strand Hardware PHT55 is a three-point touch bar bolt designed for use on a single door (timber, metal, or PVCu), the inactive leaf of a pair of rebated doors, or both leaves of a pair of straight-edged doors.

The center mechanism can be blanked off with the plate supplied, converting it into a two-point device when used on double doors.

This product comprises a touch bar, modular mechanism, covered connecting rods, and vertical latching pullman latches at the top and bottom. It comes complete with a dogging feature as standard (can be supplied without if required). Please note that the dogging (hold-back) facility should not be used on fire/smoke door assemblies but is suitable for escape doors.

Specifications:

• Standard Size: 840mm, suitable for doors up to 860mm wide
• Longer Versions: 1170mm and 1300mm available for wider doors
• Height Compatibility: Suits doors up to 2585mm high as standard; longer rods available for doors up to 3150mm high
• Strikers: Supplied for timber or metal doors as standard; strikers for PVCu available separately

A micro-switch can be fitted in the mechanism or the touch bar, allowing the door to be connected to equipment that monitors the door status. If required, please state your preferred fitting location when ordering.

Optional outside access devices are available to provide entry from outside.
