Product Information

Elite gearboxes are designed for versatility and security, available in both single and double spindle configurations. You can choose from a 35mm single spindle lock or a 35mm or 45mm double spindle option. The gearboxes measure 200mm in height, with a backset that requires an additional 19mm. Remember to account for 2mm for the faceplate when measuring the backset.

The deadbolts on these gearboxes project 20mm and stand 32mm high, while the latch measures 30mm high with a projection of 10mm. There is a 63mm distance between the bottom of the latch and the top of the deadbolt, ensuring a secure fit.

Centres are strategically positioned at 62mm and 92mm, with the top spindle located 122mm from the bottom of the case. For single spindle locks, a round hole is present where the second spindle would typically be. The gearbox is designed with a bolt-through fixing 19mm from the top spindle, and an additional slot for fixings is located 42mm above the spindle.

Note: Some variants may be stamped "Inliten." The 45mm option is currently only available in a double spindle configuration (Part Number ELITECASE45). If there is a screw hole under the lever on the existing handles, the handle set will need to be replaced, and screw holes repositioned.

Operation: Lift Lever

Latch Reversal: To reverse the latch, simply undo the screw located on the side of the lockcase adjacent to the latch. Remove the latch, reverse it, reinsert, and replace the screw.

To Lock the Door:

1. Lift the handle upwards to engage the locking points.
2. Secure the locking points and main deadbolt (if present) by turning the key.

To Unlock the Door:

1. Unlock the system by turning the key.
2. Push the handle downwards to disengage the locking points and retract the latch.
