Gatemaster GRS Gate Safety Restrainer

The stainless steel gate restrainer is a crucial safety feature designed to prevent gates from falling in the event of hinge failure. This strong yet simple device is essential for swing gates, especially where there is a risk of the gate failing and potentially causing harm to pedestrians and property.

Installation is straightforward: simply drill a 13mm hole into the gate and a corresponding 13mm hole into the post. Then, slot the end stops of the gate restrainer through the holes. The plastic bushes push into the holes for a neat finish and to prevent the wire from scratching the gate.

• GRS03: 3mm wire for gates up to 260kg (based on a maximum gate width of 2.5m)* with an operational length of 220mm.
• GRS04: 4mm wire for gates up to 500kg (based on a maximum gate width of 2.5m)* with an operational length of 275mm.
