Gibbons Monalock Copy Gearbox With Snib For Aluminium Doors - Lift Lever or Double Spindle

The ABT Gibbons copy gearbox is specifically designed for aluminium doors and features a convenient snib. It comes with a 22mm faceplate, while top and bottom extensions have been discontinued. The brackets for the extension pieces are threaded, ensuring a secure fit.

For those needing a version for UPVC doors, a model without a snib is also available.

Handle Spindle Centres: 87mm/48mm

Latch Reversal Instructions:

To reverse the latch, push it in, undo the screw located inside the lock case (adjacent to the latch), remove the latch, reverse it, and reinsert.

Play Instructions

To Lock the Door:

• Close the door to automatically engage the latch.
• Lift the handle to engage the additional locking points.
• Throw the deadbolt and secure the system by turning the key (note: on some brands, lifting the handle will throw the deadbolt).

To Unlock the Door:

1. Unlock the system by turning the key.
2. Push the handle downwards to disengage the locking points.
3. A further quarter turn of the key will retract the latch.
