Introducing the Ingenious Genuine Multipoint Gearbox, also known as the Ultimate Collection Origin. This innovative gearbox features a unique double spindle arrangement with centers at 62mm and 92mm, designed for optimal performance.

Both followers are unsprung, so we recommend pairing them with sprung door furniture for best results. Notably, the top corner of the gearbox is cut out for added functionality.

When measuring the backset, remember to allow 2-3mm for the faceplate. For instance, a 35mm backset gearbox will measure 32mm when not fixed to the strip.

Latch Reversal: To reverse the latch, simply undo the screw, remove it, reverse, reinsert, and replace the screws.

To measure the backset, follow these steps:

1. Identify the Door Edge: Locate the edge of the door where the lock will be installed.

2. Measure from the Edge: Use a tape measure to find the distance from the edge of the door to the center of the lock cylinder hole. This distance is your backset measurement.

3. Consider the Faceplate: Remember to allow an additional 2-3mm for the faceplate when measuring.

For the centres PZ measurement:

1. Locate the Cylinder Hole: Identify the center of the cylinder hole on the door.

2. Measure the Distance: Measure from the center of the cylinder hole to the center of the keyhole or latch. This will give you the PZ measurement, which should be 92mm or 62mm as specified.
