With fire door inspectors flagging any gaps exceeding 4mm between the frame and leaf as ‘Non-Compliant’, it’s crucial to address these issues effectively. For the bottom of fire doors, gaps over 8mm for Fire Only Doors and over 3mm for Fire & Smoke Doors also fall into the ‘Non-Compliant’ category.

Our Low Modulus (LM) seal is ideal for gap filling when intumescent material is already present in the door edge. It can also be paired with the separately available High Expansion (HE) seal, making it versatile for situations where frame-fitted intumescent is absent or not applicable.

Available in various sizes to accommodate FD30 and FD60 fire doors, the FrameFit seal comes in a convenient 5.2 metre roll. It has been rigorously tested and meets the standards set by BS 476 Part 22 and BS EN 1634-1, ensuring reliability and safety.
