FRAMEFIT Fire Door High Expansion (HE) Intumescent & Smoke Seal 5.2 Metre Roll

FrameFit is an innovative gap fill solution designed specifically for doors and frames, ensuring compliance with current fire door regulations. By effectively reducing gap sizes, it addresses the critical issue of fire door compliance, as inspectors will classify doors with gaps exceeding 4mm between the frame and leaf as ‘Non-Compliant.’ Additionally, gaps over 8mm at the bottom of a fire door (Fire Only Door) and over 3mm for Fire & Smoke Doors will also lead to non-compliance reports.

This High Expansion (HE) seal serves as both an intumescent and smoke seal, complementing the separately available LM (Low Modulus) seal.

Available in various sizes to accommodate FD30 or FD60 fire doors, the FrameFit seal comes in a convenient 5.2 metre roll. It has been rigorously tested and meets the standards set by BS 476 Part 22 & BS EN 1634-1, ensuring reliability and safety.
