Fire Brigade FB1/FB2 Rim Deadlock

Fire Brigade locks and padlocks are essential for ensuring safety in communal areas such as dry risers, utility cupboards, car parks, and bin stores. These locks allow authorized personnel and emergency services to access these areas using a standardized set of common keys retained by emergency services personnel.

The Fire Brigade FB1 and FB2 rim deadlocks are UK Fire Brigade approved surface-mounted dead latch locks, specifically designed for situations where the Fire Brigade needs to gain access in emergencies without damaging the door.

The deadbolt is key-operated from both sides of the door and comes with an escutcheon for the external face. Please note that keys are not included but can be ordered separately if needed.

FB rim deadlocks are handed, so please refer to the following information to select the correct handing for your needs:

• For a door hinged on the left when viewed from inside, choose a left-hand FB rim lock.
• For a door hinged on the right when viewed from inside, choose a right-hand FB rim lock.
