Lockmaster gearboxes are designed for versatility and reliability, available in two backset sizes: 35mm and 45mm. For bifold doors, we offer specialized versions with 25mm and 28mm backsets.

Mechanism Types:

• Double Spindle Locks:

  • Available with 62mm and 92mm centres.
  • Unsprung design; we recommend using sprung door handles.
  • Functions: Can operate as a lift lever or double spindle night latch.

• Single Spindle Locks:

  • Sprung mechanism, limited to lift lever function only.

Dimensions:

• Overall size: 228mm high + backset (add 15mm).
• Latch and deadbolt height: 30mm each.
• Distance between latch and deadbolt: 65mm.
• Faceplate screw holes:
  • Top to middle: 109mm
  • Middle to bottom: 109mm

Additional Features:

Earlier models included a small spindle hole at the top of the case, designed to hold the latch back.

45mm Version:

The 45mm Lockmaster gearbox mirrors the 35mm version but includes an extended latch and deadbolt, along with a cover plate for conversion.
