Introducing our Lockmaster gearboxes, designed for optimal performance and versatility in locking solutions.

Lockmaster gearboxes are available in two backset sizes: 35mm and 45mm, featuring both double spindle and single spindle mechanisms. For bifold doors, we offer specialized versions in 25mm and 28mm backsets.

  • Double Spindle Locks:
  • Centres: 62mm and 92mm
  • Unsprung design; we recommend pairing with sprung door handles.
  • Functions: Can be utilized as a lift lever or double spindle night latch.
  • Single Spindle Locks:

Sprung mechanism, limited to lift lever function.

Dimensions:

  • Gearbox Size: 228mm high + backset (add 15mm)
  • Latch and Deadbolt Height: 30mm each
  • Distance Between Latch and Deadbolt: 65mm

Installation Details:

  • Gearboxes are secured to faceplates with three screw holes:
    • Top to middle screw hole: 109mm
    • Middle to bottom screw hole: 109mm

Additional Information:

Earlier models included a small spindle hole near the latch for holding the latch back. The 45mm version mirrors the 35mm but features an extended latch and deadbolt, along with a cover plate for conversion.
