Introducing the Mila copy gearbox, designed for versatility and reliability. This model features a latch only configuration with a single 8mm spindle, also recognized under the names Coldseal and Swiftlocks. Please note that the fixing points are not threaded, requiring M4 x 10mm self-tapping screws (Part Number: M430CSK) for installation.
The Mila gearbox is available in both latch only and latch and deadbolt configurations, accommodating various needs with options for single or double spindles.
Latch Only Versions:
Always single spindle
Available backsets: 25mm, 28mm, 35mm, and 45mm
Latch and Deadbolt Versions:
Single spindle (92mm PZ) available in 35mm and 45mm backsets
Double spindles available with a 35mm backset only
Double spindle lock features a 70mm/92mm PZ measurement
Despite the variety of backsets and operational configurations, the dimensions of Mila gearboxes remain consistent. Each unit measures 233mm high, with a width determined by the backset plus an additional 20mm. The latch itself measures 20mm high, while the deadbolt stands at 30mm high, with an 80mm gap between the bottom of the latch and the top of the deadbolt.
Important Note: Some older locks may feature an offset or cranked connector. This is particularly relevant when replacing a gearbox rather than a full-length lock. While replacement gearboxes are now only available with inline connectors, they remain compatible with older locks. However, it is essential to adapt the drive gear that operates behind the faceplate.
