With its double cylinder design, the CL425 offers versatility through three keys and a code-free option, ensuring ease of access while maintaining security. The anti-panic safety feature is particularly noteworthy, allowing users to exit safely in emergencies.

When a correct code is entered, the outside lever handle retracts the latch, while the spring-loaded latchbolt automatically locks when the door is closed. For added convenience, the key can be used to retract the latchbolt without needing to input a code, and it also controls the deadbolt position. This means that when the deadbolt is projected, access via code is denied, enhancing security.

One of the standout features of the CL425 is its safety mechanism. In the event of an emergency, the inside lever handle can retract both the deadbolt and latchbolt, preventing accidental lock-ins. Additionally, the key provides management functions for security and cleaning purposes.

The CL425 is also suitable for FD30 and FD60 fire doors. To ensure compliance with fire safety standards, it must be installed with the appropriate intumescent pack, which can be found in the associated products.
