CODELOCKS CL255KO Series Digital Lock With Key Override

The CL255 Mortice latch from the Codelocks CL200 series is designed for light-duty applications, providing both security and convenience. With its dual backplate and key override feature, it’s particularly beneficial for cleaning and security personnel, allowing them to bypass codes when necessary.

This spring-loaded latch automatically locks when the door closes, enhancing security. Its deadlocking plunger feature prevents unauthorized access through shimming, ensuring reliable protection. The lock includes a slide button that allows for easy hold-open functionality, enabling free entry without needing to input a code. For added security, this function can be disabled during installation, requiring a code entry each time the door is accessed.

The CL255 is compatible with FD30 and FD60 fire doors, and to maintain fire ratings, it must be installed with the appropriate intumescent pack. For cleaning and maintenance, the optional Clean by Codelocks finish is available upon special order. This innovative coating combats the SARS-CoV-2 virus and reduces bacterial growth by 99.96%*, providing an extra layer of protection beyond standard sanitization. The ISO certified photocatalytic coating enhances defense against viruses, bacteria, and environmental toxins.
