The Winkhaus Cobra multipoint door lock is designed specifically for the passive door in a pair of French doors, ensuring both security and functionality. This lock features a central latch and deadbolt, complemented by either two or more "Cobra" hook locking points, providing robust protection.

• Locking Mechanism: The Cobra lock is characterized by its central latch and deadbolt, with options for 2 or 4 hooks as additional locking points. While it can be configured as a 4 roller lock, it does not typically combine hooks and rollers, a feature reserved for the Scorpion range.
• Locking Distance: Cobra locks commonly have a locking distance of 1490mm between external hooks, a configuration that has gained popularity among various manufacturers.
• Identification: To easily identify a Cobra lock, check the faceplate for the Winkhaus logo and the Secured by Design logo. The central deadbolt and non-handed hooks are distinctive features of this model.

Unique Locking Features:

• Entryguard Function: This feature acts like a door chain, providing enhanced security. It can be released from the outside by the key holder with a 45-degree turn of the key.
