The Roto C600 gearboxes are designed for durability and ease of use, measuring 213mm in height with a backset that varies by model, plus an additional 18mm in width. These gearboxes are equipped with a 30mm x 10mm latch and a 30mm high bolt, featuring a spacing of 57.5mm between the latch and deadbolt. A unique elongated piercing allows for bolt installation, measuring between 136mm and 173mm from the center of the euro cut-out.

Whisper Latch: The standard fitment includes a "whisper latch," which incorporates a central plastic component to ensure quiet door closure. Note that some locks may have alternative latches without this insert.
Backset Variations: Available in backsets ranging from 25mm to 80mm for European markets, with specific options of 35mm and 45mm for the UK. When measuring backsets, remember to account for a 2-3mm allowance for the faceplate.

Locking and Unlocking Mechanism:
To lock the door:
Close the door to automatically engage the latch.
Turn the key to throw and engage the locking points.
To unlock the door:
Turn the key to unwind the locking points.
A further quarter turn will retract the latch.
