BRITON 5720 DIN Standard Fire Rated Euro Profile Sashlock Case 60mm Backset

The Briton 5720 DIN Standard Euro Profile Sashlock Case is engineered for durability and security, making it an ideal choice for lockable doors. This heavy-duty mortice sashlock operates seamlessly with lever furniture to withdraw the latchbolt, while the deadbolt is activated by a euro profile cylinder. With just one turn of the cylinder, the bolt extends 20mm, ensuring robust locking capabilities.

Designed with a 60mm backset and 72mm centres, the Briton 5720 adheres to BS 8300 guidance, offering a quick reversible latch for versatile installation options. Its construction features bolt-through fixing holes compliant with DIN 18251, a galvanised steel lockcase finished with satin nickel plating for enhanced corrosion resistance, and an option for a grade 316 stainless steel round or square forend.

This lockcase is EN 1634-1 fire tested, making it suitable for FD30 and FD60 fire doors. To maintain the fire rating, it is essential to fit these digital locks with the appropriate intumescent pack. Additionally, if installed on a fire door, a compatible door closer must also be utilized.
