To ensure compliance with the EN 13126-5:2011 + A1:2014 test standard, it is crucial that the restrictors are installed correctly. The total opening of the window must be limited to less than 89mm for child safety applications, and 100mm for other uses. Our Window Restrictor is engineered to withstand a minimum load of 35kg when pushed open. Depending on the window size, multiple restrictors may be necessary to meet this requirement. There are no specific minimum or maximum dimensions for window usage, as long as the opening is restricted to the specified limits.
Each restrictor comes with a key for locking and unlocking, and one key is included with your purchase.
