Acoustic Hold Open Door Release Device

It is dangerous to wedge open fire doors. Dorgard is a wireless system which legally holds fire doors open and allows them to close when the fire alarm sounds.

This acoustically activated fire door retainer holds a fire door open in a legal position, and closes it when an alarm sounds.

• It’s triggered when it hears a general noise, or continuous sound, of 65 decibels or more.
• The door opens 14 seconds after the sound activation.

PLEASE NOTE: When you purchase this item, the Dorgard floor plates and door labels are no longer included. Floor plates are rarely required so Dorgard no longer supply them.
