- Operated from the outside by key in screw-in cylinder
- Operated from the inside by cylinder key, thumbturn, lever handle, or paddle handle
- Auxiliary bolt deadlocks the latch when the door is closed against the strike
- Forend dimensions: 203mm x 25mm
- Forend screw centres: 160mm
- Case height: 148mm
- Designed for use with hollow metal doors
- Holdback facility available by retracting latchbolt and turning the key anti-clockwise
- Accessories, including strikes and faceplates, are supplied separately
- When measuring the backset, include the faceplate
- Compatible with Adams Rite 7100/7101 series electric strikes
- For emergency exit applications with a 4591 paddle handle, specify the 8461 ramped jaw strike to comply with BS EN179+A1: 2001
