• Versatile Installation: This lock is non-handed, making it suitable for doors hinged on either side and opening inwards or outwards. It can be fitted on doors up to 54mm thick, and for thicker doors, extra-long keys can be provided upon request.

• Complete Package: Supplied with 2 keyhole escutcheons and a security striking box in a matching finish, this lock is ready for installation. It also comes with 3 brass keys, with the option to order additional keys as needed.

• Insurance Compliance: Many insurance companies require locks on external doors to comply with BS3621 or BS8621. The 3G114E meets these requirements, and you can find the BSI kitemark on the faceplate for verification.

Installation and Compatibility

When replacing an existing lock, be aware that the new lock may differ in size. Adjustments to the door may be necessary for proper fitting. For new timber doors, we recommend using the Souber DBB morticer for efficient installation.
