The Briton 1413E is a reliable outside access device designed for both timber and metal doors. This knob version features a Euro cylinder for enhanced security and ease of use.

Key Features:

• Knob Version with Euro Cylinder: Ideal for replacing original rim cylinder versions. Note that an adaptor plate (Part Number - 1413AP) may be necessary to cover original screw holes.

• Operation:

  • When locked, the knob disengages from the mechanism, allowing it to spin freely and preventing unauthorized entry.
  • When unlocked, the knob, spindle, and mechanism engage, enabling the withdrawal of shoot bolts, latches, or Pullman latches from outside the door.
  • The knob remains unlocked after opening the door from the outside and must be re-locked with a key. Please note that this unit is NOT self-locking.
